Position: CADD Operator

Description:

• The CADD Operator operates an auto-graphics input station to generate structural working drawings and sketches.
• The Drafter prepares layouts and drawings of concrete, steel, and timber structures consisting of plans, elevation, sections, and details from rough or detailed sketches and/or drawings.
• The Drafter produces various design options on the screen and on hard copy, following an engineer's verbal instructions.
• The Drafter assists in resolving a design concept not yet completely defined and inputs the commands required to complete the tasks outlined above.
• May assist in the training of lower level technicians and/or engineers wishing to improve their CAD skills

Requirements:

• High School diploma plus two years specialized technical drafting and math training.
• Formal CADD training preferred.
• Minimum of seven years CADD operating experience required in a high volume production environment.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Detail oriented with strong people and team skills
